JD Saver ("we", "our", "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how our Chrome extension processes data.

1. Local-First Data Storage

All data scraped, logged, or created inside JD Saver—including job descriptions, contacts, notes, and resume profiles—is stored locally in your browser's sandboxed storage (using chrome.storage.local). We do not run any remote database or sync server for your personal data, meaning we never collect, track, or sell your data.

2. External Integrations

JD Saver offers voluntary cloud integrations to enhance your job search. These integrations connect directly from your browser client to the respective provider:

• Google Drive appData Sync: Uses Google OAuth2 (via chrome.identity) to authenticate. The access token is held locally in memory and is used solely to backup and restore files in your private Google Drive AppData folder. We never see your Google credentials or access tokens.
• Notion Sync: Directs requests to the Notion API using your self-configured API token. Your Notion token is stored locally in your browser settings and is never sent to us.

3. License Verification

To verify active Lifetime Pro licenses, the extension queries our secure verification endpoint at /check-subscription using your authenticated Google email address. We do not track your browsing history; it simply queries payment records and replies with your license level.
